Panel Jambs
- Standard jambs, housing female rebate profiles (triple rebate for full height doors) are fixed permanently to the structure.
- Where required wall jambs can be fixed independently away from the outer structure (i.e.- glazing, window mullions, etc.). Special jambs profiled around obstructions such as skirting/dado/cornice rails, trunking and radiator cases etc, can be provided.
- Refer to standard PDF drawing No. SL103 for details.
Panel Edges
- Available as standard in self colour PVC in dark brown, beige, white, dark grey or satin anodized aluminium.
- Aluminium profiles can be colour anodized or powder coated to client specification.
- Profiles are male/female interlocking, 25mm deep with butyl rubber brushing seals and felt.
- Exposed edge protection profiles or concealed edge profiles to allow flush finish surfaces are available.
- Refer to standard PDF drawing No. SL103 for panel edge details.
Panel Sealing
- Mechanically operated spring retractable horizontal seals operate at top and bottom of each panel to lock and seal on a single push rod to an average pressure of 150kg/L. metre with worm screw applied pressure.
- Each seal is 100mm deep and set to a projection beyond the top and bottom panel edge, leaving a deep inset into the panel for maximum sound sealing and stability. * All vertical seals are male/female rebated at panel ends to ensure maximum sound sealing where panels meet. * In addition to top and bottom seals, the telescopic closure panel includes a vertical sleeve seal with an average travel of 120mm to the same adjustable pressure.
- The standard telescopic sleeve slides externally over the panel face, recommended for maximum sound sealing. An alternative internal tongue or hinged flaps to give a flush panel face are also available as well as a telescopic jamb upon request.
- Refer to standard PDF drawings No. SL103 for panel sealing details.
Panel Hangers
- Maintenance free four wheeled hangers are used for Type ‘E’ single point or Type ‘Z’ guide roller suspension systems.
- Ball bearing solid housing hangers are used for Type ‘K’ cross roller suspension and are designed to prevent dropping and subsequent jamming within track at ‘T’ and ‘Cross’ junctions.
- Both hangers are designed with anti-drop locking and also panel height adjustment.
- For more information regarding our suspension systems, please refer to standard PDF drawing SL101
